Tourists Invited to Decrease Trash Volume in Seribu Islands

Seribu Islands Environment Sub-dept. will conduct education for tourist by distributing trash bag. The bag will be distributed before they heading to Seribu Islands.

Agency head, Yusen Hardiman, said that the trash bag will be given at pier entrance to Seribu Islands, like Marina Pier, Ancol and Kali Adem, Muara Angke, North Jakarta.

The effort is aimed to decrease trash volume in Seribu Islands.

"Tourists can collect trash with trash bag and throw the full trash bag when they arrive to their destination pier," he said.

Besides trash bag, his side will also give toilet cleaner to several homestay owners.

"This toilet cleaner is donation from corporate social resposibility (CSR)," he closed.
